R.I.P - Brendan Ellison

Have the sad news that Brendan Ellison passed away on Tuesday 1st February 2011.  

Funeral is in Pomeroy Thursday 3rd Febraury.

Mid-Ulster Open 2010

The Mid-Ulster Open 2010 was held at McNallys Inn  South Derry,  28 players from all over Ulster took part in a 3 division league,

British Open champion Shane McCosker won the masters section with 17 points followed by Francis McNally (15), Peter Kearns (14) and John McElhone (12)

Brian Laverty dominated the senior section  from the off and won it comfortably with 18 points followed by Charlie McElroy (15) Liam Kelly Jnr (14) and Sean McGee (13)

The intermediate section proved to be the toughest of the lot with 4 players all finishing on equal points (15).  Veteran Patsy Quinn took top prize on honour points above Andy Montieth, Joe Fullerton and Billy Grant.
